Resetting/Expiring Password

For systems with Internal Authentication, administrators have two options available when handling password issues:

1   If a user has completely forgotten their password it is possible to reset the password and give to user a temporary password.

2   For users who know their existing password but need to create a new one, then the administrator can expire the users existing password.

Both of these are done by selecting the desired user and the appropriate option in the Main Menu.

For Active Directory users this is done externally by the Active Directory Admin.
